This Star was my first Lather Catcher a few years ago now. I thought then that it was pretty aggressive and harsh with a PTFE blade and while I was sorting through my razors I thought I'd give it another try to see if it still felt the same today, it does! Luckily I have picked up a few more since then many of which are truly excellent razors to use.

very impressive collection. I like it a lot.
Thanks Tom, these old Lather Catchers are really a work of art.

Show off!!  Love it. Are you around all that flooding?

A great shave on several days of growth todsy with my favorite Jr. Bar. This is the razor DIrving gave me. A two day old treet was smooth as could be with the vintage Williams and cheap Turkish boar.

Well I  have to show off once in awhile.

We were lucky here, we got plenty of rain but we are on the coast, most of the flooding was a little inland. We missed the fires last year and the floods this but it's all a bit too close for comfort.

Yesterday's shave was my first shave with my recently acquired Schick type D. Unfortunately it has a damaged blade stop. Luckily it holds the blade very well. I just have to be careful with that corner. I split the shave pretty equally with the Fuzzy Catcher by twhite.
I have a few razors that need minor repairs, I really need to learn to do fine detail soldering or Micro TIG welding/brazing.

First shave with a recently acquired ER lather catcher. I have another one but it has a damaged blade stop. This one has good blade stops and came with a nice handle with the stopping attachment that inserts into the end. The shave was quite nice. The Schick N is also a new acquisition and was loaded with a vintage twin blade. Both razors performed beautifully.

Lather Catcher Sunday's Shave
[Image: zcws.jpg]

Cold Water Rinse
Arko Shave Soap
SlimGem Silvertip Badger
1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher
Personna GEM SS PTFE
CWR
Vegetal AS

The Arko Shave Soap lathered well with the SlimGem Silvertip Badger. Two passes and touch ups with the 1907 Gem Jr. Lather Catcher razor with a Personna GEM SS PTFE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
