A nice post shave starting with a cold water splash and finishing with the Proraso Green Balm and OSP splash. Sitting here in a nice Menthol glow. Stay safe and Enjoy your day All. Some days I have issues with my hands having had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands. The Batons are very comfortable to use even on those days. There are several different versions too. Here is how much I like them. I looked yesterday on the bay and found two Treets with batons, one had a broken handle and the other looked trashed, like stepped on. I'm gonna keep looking. . RE: SOTD - May 2020 - GAW9576 - 05-12-2020 So I had 2 ER visits today. Early shave late posting. Yep that's right I used 2 Ever-Ready 1912s today. A British Peerless and an American with chain link handle. Unfortunately I am out of SS blades. I thought I had another 10 pack of them. Luckily I had a Pal carbon blade and I have a few Treet Carbons left that @flintstone65 gave me. I'm not a huge fan of the carbon blades but it better than nothing. Oddly the British ER seemed milder than the American. Which os the opposite of what I've heard. I am going to have to take a closer look at both razors. Maybe some adjustments are needed. Anyway overall a good shave. I will have to revisit this comparison shave at a later date. ![]() ![]() (05-11-2020, 04:52 PM)TobyC Wrote:I looked for over a year to find this one. Although i have also enjoyed using a very assertive unmentionable this week who is a most handsome devil and very good at what he is supposed to do, i am not 100% sure it would get a regular spot in my rotation, i have better "suited to me" razors to use. BBS, Feeling and smelling real good. Stay Safe and enjoy your day all |
